We train at the Warringah Aquatic Centre
Sundays from 7:00 am to 8:00 Aerobic Program
then 8.00am - 9.00am Club Swim,
and on
Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the club. Our aim is to keep fit and have fun.
At Warringah Masters we swim for fun, fitness and friendship and welcome new members. If you have never been a member of Masters Swimming you can try us out for a 4 week period before making your decision.
As a member of our club, you come under the umbrella of the Masters Swimming Australia Inc ("National") and the NSW ASSOCIATION OF AUSSI MASTERS SWIMMING CLUBS INC (Masters Swimming NSW) .
FEES:
Club Membership Fees for 2012 will be $120 and members 80 years and over the membership fee will be $60 (50% discounted).
The fee is made up of Masters Swimming NSW Branch affiliation fee $30, National Fee $35 and the Club receives $55.
There is a slight increase from 2011 and this is to cover cost of the lane hire over the next 12 months as these fees have been increased recently. The Committee decided that rather than increase the $5 we pay on Sunday & Wednesday training that it be more efficient for collection to raise the annual membership fee to $120.
The National and State organisations among other things provide insurance cover, sanction and regulate swimming carnivals held in Australia under Masters Swimming rules at National, State and club level. Membership also allows participation in World Masters swimming events organised under FINA rules.
While we try to keep membership fees at an affordable level, circumstances out of our control such as an increase in lane hire and insurance etc can lead to an increase in our annual membership from time to time.
Training sessions:
There is a $5.00 charge by the club to go towards the cost of lane hire fees for its training sessions. As well, you will need to pay the Warringah Aquatic Centre a pool entry fee on each occasion you swim, whether casually or as part of a training or aerobic swim session
